A tamper-proof badging system utilizing cryptographic signatures for instant, trustless verification.

Project Overview

We developed a next-generation Digital Badging and Certification system designed to combat credential fraud. Unlike standard PDF certificates, this platform issues credentials backed by cryptographic signatures, ensuring that every badge is unique, immutable, and instantly verifiable by third parties.

The system generates a secure hash (SHA-256) for each credential upon issuance. This hash is anchored to the learner's identity and the awarding body's private key. Employers or universities can verify the authenticity of a certificate in milliseconds by scanning a QR code or visiting a verification URL, which checks the cryptographic signature against the public ledger.
